Once families have completed registration, including all documents, you will receive a confirmation email from the school confirming your student’s spot in the program.

All families that complete all registration documents by March 1 are guaranteed a place in a pre-K class.

Registration documents include:

  • Immunizations and most recent medical record.
  • Birth certificate.
  • Proof of residency.
  • Parent photo ID.
  • Custody paperwork if applicable.

If you have a physical scheduled between now and September, you should still submit what you have now.

Students registered after March 1 will be placed on a wait list and will be given a seat in the program in the order in which registration was completed until all classes are full.

Principal Dr. Brian Boyd and Assistant Principal Mrs. Kristen Strothmann will be hosting a brief informational session in the Mill Road PK-2 cafeteria on Jan. 29 at 4 p.m. to review the pre-K program and clarify steps to register.

How Registration Works

There are two different links for registration, of which you will only use one:

  • For families new to the Red Hook Central School District, use this link.

  • For families with a student already attending a district school, use this link.

If your household does not have an existing student attending a district school, visit this link. There, you will be asked to input your household information, including address and contact information. This registers your household with the district's "Parent Portal."

You will receive an email from sender "admin-us@operoo.com" and a subject line "Red Hook Central School District - Operoo Account Created". Operoo is the district's system for uploading digital documents. The email will include a username and password to be used at Operoo.

Upload necessary student and household documents to Operoo to complete registration.

Hard copies of registration packets are available upon request if you cannot access a computer. Call JoAnn Johnson at 845-758-2241 ext. 55320.

If your household has a current student attending a district school, visit this link and click on the blue "Register New Student" box on the right and add the student to your existing account.

You will receive an email from Operoo alerting you there are new forms that need to be completed. Use your existing username and password at Operoo.
