Station 1

Station 1 is the restored meadow area with seating for students. This hillside next to the forest has been allowed to grow in, with the addition of native wildflowers and two bluebird nest boxes. It is mowed every 2-3 years to limit the spread of bushes and trees. Many types of animals, birds, and insects depend on meadows for food or shelter.
